Hand-crafted from the gnarled and time-worn roots of a bamboo stalks, these tea scoops blend both rustic form with versatile function. With each scoop bearing the dramatic and unique markings of nature, each one is wildly different from the other. Carved to fit easily in the hand, these scoops are ideal for rolled oolong such as Tieguanyin, small-leaf teas such as Bi Luo Chun or Korean green tea, or lighter teas such as Japanese gyokuro. With regular use, tea oils will give the scoop a deep, lustrous patina. Since the scoop is made of wood rather than metal, it is safer to use with more delicate ceramic or glass teaware.
